Summer Family Fun Day at the Alaska Zoo sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska

Come to the Alaska Zoo on Sunday, August 11th for a Summer Family Fun Day event sponsored by ConocoPhillips Alaska. This is a general admission event so regular entry rates and membership use apply. Zoo is open 9am to 8pm, last entry at 7:30pm. 12pm-6pm: Music and activities will be on the lawn and Coffee Shop Greenhouse. The Gift Shop will be open at the entrance. 12pm-6pm: Kona Ice and Yeti Dogs trucks (behind the Coffee Shop greenhouse). All day: Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop open with specialty drinks and more. 12pm-2pm - The SpeNerds (live). 4pm-6pm - Anchorage Opera (live). 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm - Petting Zoo open. 12pm-6pm - Cotton candy for sale. Zoo mascots on the trails for photos. Coloring station - Coffee Shop Greenhouse. Games like a scavenger hunt from signs, zoo bingo and more. Community partners with booths or activities: Stone Soup Group, Bird TLC, Anchorage Literacy Program, Best Beginnings, The Workshop, Anchorage Library (tentative), Alaska Public Lands Information Center, Ethical Axolotls, Northern Axolotls, The Alaska Club South
