New Texas Hold'em Players: Free Welcome Event

Join FBX Poker School (551-A 2nd Ave) for a New Player Welcome Event at 8pm Friday October 25, 2024. Enjoy free food and free poker play. Free hyper-turbo tournaments are held at 8pm every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Win a $$$ with nothing to lose.

Beginner players or 1st time players should come at 7pm for Poker 101 ($10 lesson, must RSVP by text to 252-508-9114). Regular or advanced players who don't need beginner lessons should come at 8pm.

We are located at 551-A 2nd Ave, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701 (downtown, next to the Mecca). You can call or text us with any question at (252) 508-9111.

Practice lessons or social game will be available after the tournament. Unlawful gambling is not allowed. Social games are legal in Alaska. Illegal gambling occurs when the casino or house takes a "rake", which is a percentage of the pot. By raking the game, the casino or house profits from the betting and it is unlawful gambling. Anything of value players stake in the FBX practice game is lawful if it is between the players (social game); such lawful gambling is of no consequence (or profit) to the Poker School. FBX Poker School charges a fee for lessons regardless of whether something of value is used in the game or not.
