About Donald Lyles: He has been a published writer since 1964. His feature articles, poems, photographs and columns have been published in over 50 publications in the United States, Ireland and England. As a noted workshop leader, he has conducted programs in over 20 major cities, including Las Vegas, Denver, San Francisco, San Diego, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Long Beach, California; El Paso, Texas and Washington, D.C.
A Vietnam Veteran, he is a Native Texan Goodwill Ambassador, a benefactor of the Illinois State Poetry Society and is listed in 2000 Outstanding Writers Of The 20th Century. His awards and honors include a Royal Award from The late Hutt River Province of Western Australia, a Certificate of Merit from both the then- American Poets Fellowship Society and The National 4-H Club Committee as well as being listed in the International Who's Who In Poetry Anthology and England's Men Of Achievement.
