Kids, big and small, have the opportunity to interact with large vehicles such as firetrucks, earth movers, dump trucks, backhoes, excavators and the APS Condor Bucket Truck. This massive APS vehicle can reach heights up to a 20-story building and is the largest such truck in North America. Touch-A-Truck is being held at Pleasant Harbor, located on the southeastern shores of Lake Pleasant on February 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The event is free. However, there is a USD 7.00 entrance fee per vehicle. Touch-A-Truck affords kids the unique opportunity to climb on their favorite oversized vehicles, without parent reprimand. In addition to the large vehicles on-hand, this interactive event features food trucks, DJ and numerous hands-on kids' activities. The event is sponsored by Pleasant Harbor and Maricopa Water District.
"Touch-A-Truck is a unique opportunity for kids," said Deneen Ramirez, event director at Pleasant Harbor. "They will be able to be hands-on and explore a wide variety of large vehicles."
