Awake Heart Foundations: Roots of Yoga 4-day Training with Hannah Muse

Join us for an enriching 4 days focused on the roots of yoga and its various facets: history and philosophy, yoga labs breaking down foundational poses, meditation 101, and a deep dive into the understanding of yoga as a spiritual practice. View the 200-hour Awake Heart curriculum to get a sense of the training - this 4-day immersion is building the foundation for the greater program.

4-Day Schedule:
November 7 - 11, 2024
Thursday Orientation and Opening Circle: 5:30pm to 7:15pm
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Monday (Veteran's Day): 8:30am to 4:30pm

- Who is this 4-day training for:
- Yogis and/or meditators who desire greater understanding and knowledge of: the roots of yoga and its rich history, foundational yoga poses, meditation 101, breathwork (pranayama) and an enriching 4-day weekend of immersive practice with other awesome yogis, led by an expert instructor.
- Practitioners who want to cultivate their own home practice or enhance their overall practice.
- Practitioners who don't feel they can commit to the Awake Heart 6 month training right now, yet want to take the next step on the spiritual path.
- Graduates of Awake Heart who'd like to return to their roots.
- Graduates of other teacher trainings who want to continue their education.
- All beings who've had a minimum of one-year of yoga practice and want to go deeper.

Continuing Education:
This 40-hour immersion is eligible for continuing education units (CEUs) through Yoga Alliance. (Yoga Alliance-certified teachers are required to log 30 hours of yoga-related training every 3 years to maintain their registration.)
