Sock Skating at Chabot Space and Science Center

Kids and adults of all ages, wear your coziest socks (or buy a pair of special Chabot Sock Skate socks on site) and happily glide across our all new, icy planet-themed sock skate rinks-one for family and adults and one especially for little ones. You'll enjoy all the fun of skating without the skates or chill on our specially made tile rinks. The sock skating rink is built out of artificial ice tiles that have a real-ice feel, giving skaters the same slip, slide, and glide as real ice skating without the specialty equipment or weather.

Join us every Friday through Sunday from November 29 through January 5. Sock skating is included with regular admission (free for Chabot Members)-don't forget your socks-- with advance reservation for 30-minute time slots.
