American choral music offers almost infinite varieties of styles, colors, and moods. Join us on a journey from coast to coast as we sample its riches. In collaboration with pianist Dara Phung, we'll offer spirituals, Moravian hymns, jazz, and Broadway classics alongside works of Ives, Bernstein, Copland, Randall Thompson, Billings and Conrad Susa. In addition, we'll present brand new works by Composer-in-Residence Xingyue Song, and Composer-Not-in-Residence Patricia Julien.
