His Eminence Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche, lineage holder of the Shangpa Kagyu Buddhist tradition, will be teaching the rare and unusual physical yogas of the 11th century yogini, Niguma, for three days July 1-3 at the Congregation Sherith Israel building in the San Francisco Pacific Heights neighborhood. Kalu Rinpoche is offering these instructions to bring more awareness to our physical and mental well-being and give physical benefit using this lineage of yoga and practice that has been maintained for the last thousand years. Online registration is required; everyone of all ages, faiths, ethnicities and orientations is welcome. Everyone must bring a six-layer (4.5" loft) zabuton cushion with them.
