As an antidote to sappy, sentimental Christmas tunes, Maria Muldaur has collected some wonderfully hip, swinging, humorous and irreverent Christmas songs by her favorite Jazz and Blues artists. She and her Jazzabelle Quintet present her special "Holiday Swing" show of "Christmas tunes for Hipsters."

Muldaur is best known for her 1974 Grammy-nominated "Midnight at the Oasis." Since then, she's toured extensively and recorded 43 solo albums covering all kinds of American Roots Music, including Gospel, R and B, Jazz and Big Band. She now focuses on Blues and what she calls "Bluesiana"- a gumbo of New Orleans-flavored Blues, R and B, and "Swamp Funk."
