Nonprofit Alliance for Monterey County (NAMC) invites you to celebrate the impact of local nonprofits at the 11th Annual Nonprofit Awards Celebration Breakfast on Friday, September 27 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Embassy Suites Monterey Bay. The event opens with a Red-Carpet Reception photographed by Richard Green.

The NAMC Award Celebration showcases the impact of a wide range of nonprofits - through our salute to nominees and heartfelt (and brief!) remarks by award recipients. This year, NAMC presents awards to Outstanding Agencies: Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula, Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley, Positive Discipline Community Resources Central Coast, The Equine Healing Collaborative, and Safe Ag Safe Schools Collaboration and Unsung Heros Awards to: Paola Martinez (Monterey Rape Crisis Center), Gisselle Padilla (Positive Discipline Community Resources), and Crystal Lopez (United Way Monterey County).

A very special guest will present The Nonprofit Ally Award to County of Monterey County Administrative Officer (CAO), Sonia M. De La Rosa - for her amazing leadership as a valued partner. NAMC Founder Joe Grainger, Executive Director of Harden Foundation, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
As NAMC Awards Chair Deanna Pond notes, "This NAMC Awards celebration has wide-ranging impact. As a NAMC board member and sponsor, I have been on the planning team for years, and I am continuously inspired by the passionate people behind the scenes. As a result, my own passion continues to grow in serving others and my community."
