FIRST-EVER LA FISHING FESTIVAL COMES TO WEST HARBOR

The first-ever LA Fishing Festival will celebrate the vibrant fishing culture and community in San Pedro and other Los Angeles neighborhoods at West Harbor, an exciting and new entertainment, dining and experiential destination rising along the LA Waterfront. This free and fun family event features vendors of premium recreational fishing gear, baits, and more; live music by bands such as Warehouse One, Special Blend, and Spliff Vision; vendors of snacks, drinks and food, including seafood; and games, raffles and activities. The festival is inspired by the San Pedro “Fishermen’s Fiesta,” a famous, annual community tradition from the 1950s to the 1960s that drew Angelenos to the LA Waterfront and was revived briefly in 2006. The festival is presented by the LA Fishing Alliance, West Harbor, L.A. City Councilmember Tim McOsker (15th District), and local businesses San Pedro Makers Market, San Pedro Sticker Company and Liquid Assassins.
