The Castle Rock Band will give autumn a tuneful welcome with a free outdoor concert at Festival Park in downtown Castle Rock on Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 PM. The English-themed program will include "Flourish for Wind Band" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, a medley from Lerner and Loewe's "My Fair Lady," and the "Colonel Bogey" march by Kenneth Alford. This is the final outdoor concert of the band's 2024 season.

All Castle Rock Band concerts are presented free of charge as a service to the community. The public is invited to the event, which will be held at the amphitheater in beautiful Festival Park on Perry Street at Second Street. Convenient parking is available at the adjoining Town Hall lot south of the park. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs or blankets.

The Castle Rock Band is made up of volunteer musicians from Douglas County and the surrounding area. For more information about joining the band, visit http://www.CastleRockBand.org or http://www.facebook.com/CastleRockTownBand.
