NORTHERN COLORADO SPRINGS WALK

The Falcon Wanderers walking club invites you to participate in our Northern Colorado Springs Walk on Saturday, August 14, 2021.  All our walks are free and open to the public.  Come join us for some fun, fitness, and friendship at this non-competitive walking event.  The walk begins and ends at Fire Station #19, 2490 Research Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO  80920.  The 6 & 10 kilometer routes will include some dirt trails, but most of the walking routes will consist of hard surfaced sidewalks and trails.  The 6k and 10k walk routes are rated 1B (easy walk with some uneven terrain).  Strollers can complete both walk routes, but will have some trouble on the dirt trails.  Wheelchairs are not recommended.  Leashed pets only!  Restrooms are available at the start/finish and checkpoint.  This is an IVV Credit Only walk.  Walk start times are between 8:00am to 12:00pm.  Everyone walks at their own pace, but please plan on finishing your walk by 3:00pm.  For more information, please call Curt Converse at 719-591-8193.
