Join the Chinese American Foundation of Colorado for the 21th Annual Colorado Chinese New Year Celebration on Jan. 25. Participants will be able to immerse themselves in the vibrant festivities of the Chinese New Year at George Washington High School, 655 South Monaco Street Parkway, Denver.

This in-person event promises to be a day filled with excitement and cultural experiences. Delight in the mesmerizing lion and dragon dances, showcasing the rich traditions of Chinese culture. Marvel at the graceful movements of the performers as they bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.

Participants can indulge their taste buds with a wide array of mouthwatering Chinese delicacies available at the event. From delectable dumplings to savory stir-fries, there’s something to satisfy every palate. There also will be traditional Chinese New Year desserts for a sweet start to the year.

The Cultural Fair, Taste of China and Marketplace, open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will offer a festive atmosphere with various stalls offering traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Discover unique treasures, from intricate calligraphy to beautiful handmade lanterns, all while supporting local artisans.

 

The celebration show, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. will feature lively performances, cultural exhibitions, and interactive activities.
