Toy Drive in Cheshire for New Haven Children's Hospital

Local Toy Drive Event Aims to Bring Joy to Children in need Cheshire, CT

Laura Squillante with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England is thrilled to announce its Toy Drive, a heartfelt initiative aimed at collecting new and gently used, unwrapped toys for children in need this holiday season. Toys to be distributed to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Women and families Center. The event will take place on Saturday Dec.14th, 2024 from 10am to 1pm at Berkshire Hathaway’s Cheshire office 220 Old Towne Rd, Cheshire. This year’s toy drive will serve hot chocolate, cookies and pastries provided by Cheshire Coffee. Community members are encouraged to bring a toy to donate and join in the fun! With their donation they will be entered in a raffle with a chance to win prizes. “With the holiday season approaching, we want to ensure that every child has the opportunity to receive a gift,” said Laura Squillante. “We are grateful for the support of our community and hope that together we can make this year’s toy drive extremely successful.” Attendees are encouraged to bring new or gently used, unwrapped toys to donate during the event.
If you cannot attend the event, toys can also be dropped off at the BHHS Cheshire Office 220 Old Towne Rd, Cheshire from December 2nd through December 13th on weekdays from 10AM – 4PM

This year, we aim to collect 300-500 toys for children in need during the holiday season. The Toy Drive will take place on Dec 14th from 10:00am - 1:00pm outside the Berkshire Hathaway's Cheshire office 220 Old Towne Road, where volunteers from Cheshire High School Boys Swim and Dive Team will help collect, sort and hand out raffle tickets to donors, we will then distribute the toys for the pediatric floors at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and outpatient locations, as well as the Women and Families Center Before and After School Program. Our goal is to ensure that every child experiences the joy of receiving a gift during this special time of year.
