The Wharf Ice Rink and ALL CAPS Take over

The Wharf Ice Rink, DC’s only over-water ice skating rink, re-opens the week of Thanksgiving and will remain open through February 2023. Skaters can bring their own skates or rent a pair rink-side to glide over the ice and enjoy amazing views of the water and monuments. Beginners are welcome and skate aids air available at the skate shop. Starting in December, the rink turns ALL CAPS as the Washington Capitals bring their own brand of fun to The Wharf. Caps décor, Rock the Rink events and new this year, Caps themed igloos, will bring out the hockey lover in everyone.

HOW: Purchase tickets and rent skates at the Skate Shop, located on Transit Pier next to the Water Taxi ticket office.
