Dave’s Dewey Dash

David Ashby died unexpectedly from a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 28. His friends and family are dedicated to raise awareness about this silent killer through early detection and treatment. The proceeds from this memorial 5K walk run will be used to donate AED machines and associated training throughout Dewey Beach. Partnership with Simon’s Heart, a 5013C organization enables all donations in sponsorships to be fully tax-deductible.

The race event will include an after party with food donated by the Rusty Rudder restaurant and beverages donated by NKS Distributors. There will be many award categories, T-shirts, and giveaway prizes. An inflatable jukebox will be on hand to teach hands only CPR to all that are interested. Together we can save lives!
