Known for his innovative fusion of jazz, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and modern musical expressions, Charles brings a dynamic and captivating performance to Miami Beach. His virtuosic trumpet playing and compelling compositions have earned him a reputation as one of the most influential musicians of his generation. A recipient of numerous commissions and accolades, including a Guggenheim Fellowship for his project Carnival: The Sound of a People Vol. 1, Charles has performed with legends such as Roberta Flack, Chucho Valdes, and Gregory Porter.
