AfriKin Art Fair 2024: Threads of Life in Fragments of Time – A Cultural Odyssey at the Heart of Miami Art Week.
As highlighted by The New York Times, the AfriKin Art Fair 2024, themed "Threads of Life in Fragments of Time," will mark its 10th anniversary from December 1st to December 8th at Maison AfriKin, located within the Scott Galvin Community Center in North Miami, during Miami Art Week/Art Basel Miami Beach. This event is a profound journey through the interconnections of human existence, the cosmos, and the transcendent powers of the arts.
Miami’s Number One African Contemporary Art Fair Champions the Black world and unites artists from over 33 countries as it unveils a powerful narrative for Miami Art Week / Art Basel Miami.
Join us as we honor the rich tapestry of the Black world through art, talks, fashion, food, and more during Miami Art Week.
Brought to you in partnership with the city of North Miami, North Miami CRA, and the GMCVB Art of Black Miami.
Be part of this extraordinary celebration! The featured works will encompass a diverse array of mediums—including visual art, digital installations, photography, and performance art—all aimed at examining pressing issues such as climate change, displacement, and community regeneration.
