CANSTRUCTION® CELEBRATES “ICONIC” 30th ANNIVERSARY

Ready, set, build! Canstruction^® is back to help raise awareness about hunger while providing resources to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida for relief efforts.

To celebrate 30 years of Canstruction, teams of local architecture and engineering firms designed canned food displays around the theme “Iconic." On Saturday, November 11, members of each team will build their concepts within an 8x8x8-foot space at ICON Park. The community is invited to watch the designs take shape.

Displays will be “de-canstructed” on Sunday, November 19, and the nonperishable items will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank for distribution to its network of more than 625 nonprofit feeding partners across Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Brevard, Marion and Volusia counties.

The competition is sponsored by ICON Park.
