King Avenue St. Augustine, FL 32084 Be prepared for an hour-long walk of history with Ms. Cora Tyson's grandson to recall the Civil Rights Movement and African American heritage of this historic neighborhood. Ms. Tyson was not only a graduate of the Excelsior High School where the Lincolnville Museum calls its home, she was a friend and host of Dr. Martin Luther King and many others who needed a home away from home to strategize and seek comfort during this dark period of St. Augustine's history. Mr. McClain is a Trustee of St. Paul's AME Church and has been actively serving the St. Augustine and Hastings Black community.
