The longest day of the year, Friday, June 21, 2024, will mark the rebirth of Make Music Day/ Palm Beach County. It is a one-day, global, free celebration of music that began 40 years ago in Paris and is now celebrated in hundreds of cities in the United States and around the world. The "dating app" function on our website will find a match for you with one of our participating "performance hubs," located throughout the County. To name a few headliners, The Masterwork Chorus of the Palm Beaches, the Choral Society of the Palm Beaches, and the Ebony Chorale will be uniting to sing some tunes you'll love like, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. The Daiko Drums, well-known from the Morikami Museum, are coming to perform starting at 6:10 pm at City Place. If you would like to participate, you can gain exposure, try out new music, or have fun in interactive, participative ensembles We will help "match" you with venues that will welcome you. Register at palmbeachcounty.makemusicday.org. SAVE THE DATE! Don't miss this.
Other hubs are The Waterfront at the Fountains on Clematis, Visit Palm Beach, Cafe Salento, 407 Clematis, Northwood Art and Music Warehouse, Soulmates Records, Northwood, and Old School Square in Delray Beach.
