Fox Theatre Kicks off 2022 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival

The Fox Theatre welcomes back the annual film festival with the announcement of the 2022 Coca Cola Summer Film Festival schedule. Kicking off the festival is the 50^th Anniversary of the Godfather on Friday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m.  

After opening night, the festival will have early and evening shows including “Saturday Morning Cartoons,” “Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark,” the 80^th anniversary of “Casablanca”, “Coco” and the 45^th Anniversary of “Saturday Night Fever” followed by a disco-themed after-party in the Marquee Club presented by Lexus. Discounted, General Admission tickets will go on sale Friday, May 13 at noon for $10, plus applicable fees until the week of the film festival on June 17. Starting the week of the film festival, on June 17, General Admission tickets are $15, plus applicable fees.  Tickets are available at foxtheatre.org, 855-285-8499 or at the Ticket Office during open hours: Fridays 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 3 hours before doors on all show days.

The Marquee Club presented by Lexus is accessible with purchase of Marquee Club Level seats only.  Club Level seats are sold at $40 per person and located in the front balcony (Loge) section of the theatre. Marquee Club access includes early, private entry, complimentary locally sourced food from film-inspired menus; adult and kid-friendly movie-themed beverages; private bars and restrooms and rooftop access.

As in previous years, Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival will showcase films on its impressive 26-by-56-foot screen. Patrons will enjoy movies under the Fox Theatre’s distinctive blue sky with twinkling stars and fluffy clouds. For select showings, guests will have the opportunity to attend a magical pre-show experience, which will include a sing-along with a vintage cartoon and performances on the world-renowned “Mighty Mo” organ.

Marquee Club presented by Lexus

The Marquee Club will not be open for “Saturday Morning Cartoons” on Saturday, June 18 at 10 a.m.

The 2022 Coca Cola Film Festival will wrap up with a disco-themed after-party in the Marquee Club presented by Lexus following the 45^th Anniversary of Saturday Night Fever. Access to the after-party is available with purchase of Marquee Club Level seats for the evening, priced at $50 per person. These seats permit access to the Marquee Club before and during the movie as well as after for the disco-themed party featuring a live DJ, from 9:30 – 11:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite 70’s attire!

*Special Movie Tours:

To extend the movie-going experience, the Fox Theatre offers exclusive Movie Tours prior to select film showings. Guests will be taken on guided tours through the projection booth, screening room, celebrity dressing rooms, and the iconic Fox Theatre stage - all while learning about the history of movie palaces and Mr. William Fox’s innovations.

All film festival dates offer a 60-minute movie tour that starts 2 hours prior to each film. Admission to Movie Tours will be $25, plus applicable fees. Tickets for Movie Tours are on sale at foxtheatre.org/tours.
