The Atlanta Community Food Bank, one of the nation’s largest hunger-relief organizations, is seeking volunteers this summer to join the fight against food insecurity. It has made opportunities available for youth 12 years and older starting June 1st. A wide variety of opportunities to make a difference exist, from completing important tasks such as sorting and packing food donations, to lending a hand to administrative work and more.
Those interested in volunteering can lend a hand either alone or with a group of family, friends, or teammates and make a difference
All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Food Bank no longer requires that masks be worn or for a volunteer to show proof of vaccination to serve.
