Build-a-Bash, LLC presents the TaTas & TuTs Brunch, A Breast Cancer Awareness Vibe! on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 11AM – 3PM hosted at The Venue Marietta, 855 Church St, Marietta, Georgia, 30060.

Daphne Myers, Build-a-Bash, LLC, CEO is a breast cancer survivor. Daphne credits her family strength, love of event planning and starting the company in memory of her mother for giving her fuel, joy and strength. After becoming breast cancer free, she celebrates being born in October with the TaTas & TuTs Brunch, A Breast Cancer Awareness Vibe!

This beautiful awareness day includes lots of flowing TUTUs and TATAs! Along with awesome stories of Remembrance, uplifting stories of Survivors, and lots of Celebrating!  As well as special guest speakers Dr. Rhonda Wachsmith from Georgia Breast Care and April Love, inspirational breast cancer survivor. Entertainment by saxophonist Jerald Dunn, delectable food from Cal’s Kitchen, educational Breast Health information, 360 photobooth, games & more!

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, Build-a-Bash, LLC has created a TaTa Awareness Lapel Pin! The pin supports coming together to BASH BREAST CANCER! The TaTa Awareness Lapel Pin is 1 ½ inches and has three beautiful opportunities to show support for the BASH BREAST CANCER campaign. Black women are 41% more likely to die of breast cancer than white women. Black women have denser breasts than white women. Having dense breasts increases your risk of developing breast cancer up to six-fold and regular mammograms struggle to pick up breast cancer in dense breasts. Black women under 35 get breast cancer at two times the rate of white women and die at three times the rate.
