When Baltimore-based Baroque cellist,Wade Davis, performed in 2022, audiences were enthralled, and we knew we would invite him back. For this performance, we are also featuring Demark Manigo, an accomplished dancer from Savannah. The Bach Cello Suites are based on Baroque dance, and we are thrilled to reimagine Wade Davis's expert rendering through historic performance practice and the creativity of Demark Manigo's interpretive dance.
Another first for Bach Ascending is that the event will take place at the Savannah Bottle Works, 411 West Charlton Street in Savannah.
