The Land Trust of the Treasure Valley is a non-profit land conservation organization based in Boise, Idaho since 1996, serving the communities of the Treasure Valley, including eastern Oregon and northern Nevada. Our mission focuses on the conservation of agricultural lands, wildlife migration corridors, and natural open spaces. Over the past 5 years, more than 76,626 acres of farm and ranch land and open space in the Treasure Valley have been lost, along with 2,794 family farms. The Land Trust works with voluntary farmers and ranchers to preserve their agricultural ground and family legacies and curb this unprecedented rate of land loss. Additionally, over the past 15 years, the population of the Treasure Valley has grown by 150,000 and is exhibiting a steady 8% annual growth rate. Public access to open spaces has never been more demanding. The Land Trust works with partners and stakeholders to increase public space access and opportunities for communities throughout the Treasure Valley.
