AIMS is a transatlantic community of physicians, entrepreneurs, government and industry that fosters collaboration and innovation. Started in 2022 by a group of academic surgeons from Northwestern Medicine in Chicago and the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, AIMS is a dynamic response to the need to integrate different disciplines of leaders to engage in issues relevant to academic medicine, health care innovation and delivery.
Thanks to strategic partners like Enterprise Ireland and Microsoft, AIMS summit has evolved into a premier forum for collaboration between academic and industry leaders from the United States and Ireland. After three successful summit meetings in Dublin, AIMS Summit is moving to Chicago. On March 13th and 14th, AIMS 2025 will focus on entrepreneurship, wellbeing and collaboration with industry and will take place at Northwestern University in Chicago, both at the downtown central campus and the Evanston campus.
Who Should Attend the AIMS Summit?
The AIMS Summit is designed for professionals, academics, and innovators in the healthcare sector who are looking to deepen their knowledge, expand their networks, and contribute to groundbreaking changes in healthcare systems. Whether you're a researcher, clinician, leader, or student, the summit offers invaluable opportunities for growth and collaboration.
What You'll Gain from Attending
The two-day event will take place on March 13th at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, followed by AIMS Connect on March 14th (venue TBC).
At the AIMS Summit, you'll explore four key pillars that will inspire, educate, and equip you with actionable insights:
. Academic Collaboration: Engage in meaningful partnerships between the US and Ireland, fostering shared innovation and progress in healthcare.
. Innovation: Forward-thinking sessions focusing on creating a better health system for all and the role of AI in shaping future advancements.
. Mentorship and Leadership: Learn how wellness and leadership intersect, with a focus on practical strategies to nurture resilience and strong teams.
. Self-Improvement and Wellness: Draw inspiration from lessons from leaders outside of medicine-leadership, teamwork, and perseverance-that can be applied to personal and professional growth.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative conversation on the future of healthcare.
