The Stage Company presents their summer production, "The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later" written by Moises Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris, and Stephen Belber. Directed by Jeff Keasler-Bird. Assistant Directed by Tara Bell, Stage Managed by Alex Weinhold, and Tech Directed by Brandyn McGhee.
Revisit the town of Laramie 10 years after the brutal death of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man who was discovered beaten and tied to a fence just outside of Laramie, Wyoming. This production tracks what has, or has not, changed 10 years after the murder in a community still grappling with its legacy and its place in history.
*Performances July 1-3 and 7-10 at the Varsity Center in Carbondale, IL
Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm
