Highwood Pride Fest
Benefiting Haven Youth & Family Services / Highland Park High School Spectrum Club
Saturday, June 4, Downtown Highwood
Recognized as one of the first communities on Chicago’s North Shore to host a Pride Fest, Highwood brings people together from all over to celebrate diversity. This family friendly/all-ages concept kicks off Pride Month with a day of fabulous fun, starting with a ‘Pride Rocks’ family picnic at noon, followed by an 18+ only drag show at 6 PM, a 21+ only ‘Taste the Rainbow’ Pub Crawl and End of the Rainbow DJ Dance Party. Downtown Highwood is decorated and celebrates all month long with Pride flags lining the streets, rainbow windows and chalked sidewalks!

Celebrate Highwood is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity established in August 2016. Managed and operated by volunteers, its mission is to bring community together to raise funds for local and national charities. Through producing events that cater to the citizens, businesses and visitors of Highwood, Celebrate Highwood’s goal is to give back, build strong community spirit, and establish Highwood as THE prime entertainment destination for dining, festivals and events on the North Shore.
