Three Feathers Outreach Hosts Free, Family-Friendly Activities, Native American Dances in East Peoria on May 4 and 5

Three Feathers Outreach, Inc. invites you to their Spring Gathering on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 - 5, 2024.
The event will take place at the UAW hall at 3025 Springfield Rd. in East Peoria, IL.
Event Opens 9 AM Saturday, 10 AM Sunday

Enjoy Native American dancing, painted horses, food trucks, silent auction, and a vendor fair. Fractured Feathers Wildlife Rehab will be on hand to provide opportunities to get close to birds of prey and Sky Blue Stables horses will be there.
Three Feathers Outreach, Inc (3FO) is a non-profit that provides logistics and transportation services to
North and South Dakota Native American reservations. The Spring Gathering is a fundraiser to cover fuel,
vehicle maintenance, and other transportation costs involved in getting food, clothing, and home goods to
individuals on reservations who may not have a vehicle - or even an address recognized by the USPS or
Google Maps!
On Saturday, May 4th comedian Gilbert Brown takes the stage inside the UAW Hall at 3025 Springfield Road in East Peoria. Event Admission of $10 donation per ticket is requested. Gilbert is a member of the Modoc,
Klamath, Paiute and Warm Springs tribes, and calls Portland Oregon his home. He is a father, a
comedian, a wild horse rodeo cowboy, a Pow Wow MC, and a traditional fisherman.
His stand-up comedy draws on the various facets of his rich life. His blue-collar roots as a city facilities worker mean his voice reaches out to all regular folks and has them rolling in their seats with laughter.
Tickets are available at the door.

The Spring Gathering continues through Sunday. At 10:00 am, Three Feathers will host a church service
with a Native American pastor from South Dakota. We will celebrate with traditional Native wood flute and
a spirit fire. The drawing for the quilt raffle will also take place on Sunday.

Three Feathers Outreach, Inc. is a small Central Illinois non-profit making a big impact on communities it
