Lemont Artists Guild Member Exhibit

The Lemont Artists Guild will be having a Member Exhibition November 1 thru November 30, 2024 at Gallery Seven located in the Historic Gaylord Building at 200 W. 8th St. (3rd Floor) in Lockport, IL, 60441. There will be a variety of artwork in the exhibit with many different mediums, something for everyone to enjoy! Come and view the exhibition at the reception on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Or during the gallery’s normal operating hours: Thurs-Fri-Sat 12 pm to 5 pm or Sun 12 pm to 3 pm

The Lemont Artists Guild’s mission is to enhance life in Lemont and surrounding community by providing fine art, education, instruction, programming and appreciation through a supportive environment that nurtures creativity and individuality. The Lemont Artists Guild, established in 1992, is a gathering point for many local artists and friends of the Arts! They welcome adults and young adults with various levels of ability and interests in the arts. Together their members who create in a variety of art mediums are able to spark creativity, encourage interest in all forms of creative art and stimulate an understanding and appreciation of art in the community! The Lemont Artists Guild meets at the Homer Township Public Library in Homer Glen, IL on the second Wednesday of the month, September-May (unless otherwise indicated). At their meetings, they have a quality art program that is informative on some topic of art and sometimes interactive with the attendees. Artists, Art Educators, Art Enthusiasts and Visitors are always welcome! The Lemont Artists Guild also has other activities throughout the year including monthly programs, meet-ups, plein air outings, a holiday gathering, and art exhibitions, including virtual ones on their website.
