The Dinsmore Homestead Museum is a beautiful, historic site where generations of families have been making memories for nearly two hundred years, and we’re hoping we can count on you to help keep those memories alive. We are excitedly planning our annual Derby Day fundraiser; in its 15th year, the event remains the Dinsmore Homestead Foundation’s major fundraiser, generating a significant portion of Dinsmore’s budget.
Bringing Derby enthusiasts to the Homestead on May 4th, the event offers several elements:
Live simulcast of the 150th Run for the Roses
Hat contest
Silent Auction and Split the Pot
A fun-filled party at Dinsmore Homestead with food, drink, and entertainment
All proceeds from the event support Dinsmore Homestead’s programs, including the day camp we offer in the summer, our heritage tours, and educational field trips for more than 2,000 school children each year. Filled with thousands of original artifacts, the Dinsmore Homestead Museum offers a unique opportunity to learn about Boone County, Cincinnati, and even national history.
