REMEMBRANCE RALLY FOR VICTIMS OF GUN VIOLENCE

On December 14th, 2012, twenty-six people were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, CT. Twenty were children; six were teachers and administrators who tried to protect their students. On the anniversary of this horrendous tragedy, Grandmothers Against Gun Violence will host a peaceful rally at the Hyannis Airport Rotary to honor these victims and all victims of gun violence. We can never forget this tragedy that sparked a national outcry from groups like ours to put children and safety of our communities first.
Join us as we HONOR WITH ACTION, reminding everyone that we must stay the course and use our voices to put an end to this epidemic. Guns are the number one killer of children under the age of 17.
We have signs or you can bring you own. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO PARTCIPATE. Dress warmly, as it will be chilly. We will provide complementary hot chocolate and donuts.
After the rally, we invite participants to meet at the KNACK in Hyannis to learn more about what we do and for some thoughtful conversation.
