Drop in on 2/23 between 11am and 3pm to explore ice and snow at the Waterworks Museum!

Engineer different snowflake shapes out of pipe cleaners, then try your hand at using geometric shapes to create snowflakes. Learn about how salt alters the freezing point of water first-hand at our water tables, and take a closer look at the water cycle as you make a Lifecycle of a Snowman spinner.

At 12:30pm, join us as we demonstrate the effects of road salt on drinking water supplies using our watershed model.

It’ll be snow much fun!

These activities are recommended for ages 4+. This event is free of charge, suggested donation $5. Please help us monitor capacity by reserving your free tickets online in advance.

If you would like to make a donation online through Eventbrite, select the “Donation + Admission Ticket.” If you cannot donate at this time, or would rather donate in person on the day of the program, select the “Free Admission Ticket.”

If your plans change, you can simply cancel your ticket on Eventbrite or send us an email to let us know so we can make your spot available for others.
