Imagine viewing magical trees nestled among historic Crosby boats. That's what you'll find at this year's Osterville Historical Museum's Festival of Trees.

A sparkling display of tabletop trees decorated for the holidays will be located throughout the outdoor Crosby boat shops.

On December 10th and 11th, the Osterville Historical Museum will host its annual Festival of Trees--a silent auction of spectacular holiday trees decorated by local merchants and organizations to benefit the Osterville Historical Museum.

Participants include: JuliaGarden Design, Hometown Juice, Compass Realty, Rogers and Marney, Sotheby's, and Coastal Style.

Held during the Osterville Village Stroll, the festivities are free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Insider's tip: dress warmly for the outdoor/unheated boat shops.

Bidding on the trees will be open until the silent auction ends Saturday, December 11th at 2 p.m. Proceeds go to support the Osterville Historical Museum--the home of the Crosby Boats.

Also new this year, nautical holiday swags and centerpieces will be available for purchase. This year's raffle basket will feature a Nantucket Basket from local artist Lynn Barry.
