Comedy at Toscana Forno

Jolanda Logan hosts top Boston comedy stars Ken Rogerson and Dave Russo on Friday, Sept. 27 as comedy returns to Toscana Forno, 139 Lynnfield Street, Peabody.
Presented by Scamps Comedy and Toscana Forno, the night will feature a buffet style dinner at 6 p.m., with dessert family style at the table. The buffet will feature Mixed Green Salad with Bread, Baked Haddock, Chicken Piccata, Spicy Rigatoni, Short Rib Ravioli, Mixed Vegetables.
Advance tickets are $70 for dinner-show (including tax and gratuity), with a limited number of show-only tickets for $30. The night will feature a buffet style dinner at 6 p.m., with dessert family style at the table.
If seats are available tickets will be available at the door for $35 (show only) and $80 (dinner-show).
Showtime is 8 p.m.
All seats are general admission, so couples or groups planning to sit together should plan to arrive early. Tables of 10 will be available if the buyer purchases 10 tickets.
Ken Rogerson, the funniest man you've never heard of, has performed on the nationwide "Rescue Me Comedy Tour" with Denis Leary, and made television appearances on such shows as NBC's Late night with Conan O'Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, Comics Come Home for Comedy Central and Showtime's A Pair of Jokes and more. Rogerson has also appeared at The Chicago Comedy Festival and TBS's The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. The Boston Herald proclaimed, "He makes the absurd seem logical" and Las Vegas Magazine wrote, "As far as pure stand-up goes, it doesn't get any better than Rogerson."
Dave Russo gained national fame during A and E's The Entertainer, and he's been a fixture as a headliner in Las Vegas and Boston ever since. Winner of the first ever Boston Comedy Festival, he's now seen on television as the comedy host of Dirty Water TV, is a radio station regular, and plays clubs and theaters around New England. He's a former collegiate wrestler, and avid hockey player.
Jolanda Logan is a stand-up comedian performing all over New England, with her own unique mix of upbeat charm and sharp observational humor. A devoted wife and mom of one, she makes no secret of annoyingly adoring the two guys in her life. When she isn't on stage, she is a marketing exec and Muay Thai Kickboxing instructor (and second degree black belt). But she always prefers being on stage!
