Our 2021 Theme is "Unity In The Community" this is a great time to UNITE our CommUNITY by coming together commemorating this National Holiday while remembering those who fought for Liberty and Justice.
Our Mission: To Educate Viewers by sharing historical facts. Entertain our Viewers through
Storytelling, Songs, and Musical Tributes.
Our Goal: To be Informative by sharing past and present experiences while shedding light on
the journey to "Freedom Day". Celebrating the fact that Slaves and their Descendants became American Citizens under the law. Joining this Inclusive and Diverse Celebration will be Mayor Robert Alt, Members of The Juneteenth Committee, National Recording Gospel Recording Artist Artie Dixson Tyler, Singer
Bianca Thorn, Singer Tova Jones, The Daughters of The Underground, Charles Hicks, Cecil
Community College Diverse and Inclusive Board, Pastor Kevin Brown Sr., Residents of Elkton,
Guest Speaker E. Todd Brown, and Many More.
Please note that due to the pandemic our 1st Official Juneteenth Celebration will be virtual and
will stream LIVE on the "Elkton Maryland Official Juneteenth" YouTube Channel Saturday
June 19, 2021 Twelve O'clock Noon.
