After 8 good years at the Festival Market Square in downtown Battle Creek the Battle Creek Caribbean Festival will be moving to Battle Creek's premier outdoor music venue the Base Bar and Grill located at 3905 West Dickman Road. New extended hours are 6pm to 11pm with a After Party from 11pm to?

Headlining this year's festival will be former lead vocalist of Bob Marley's band the Wailers Lazo Johnfinn winner of Top Reggae Performer of the Year Canadian Reggae Music Awards, 3 Juno Awards (Canadian's Grammy's) Best Reggae Recording
Best Reggae Band and Best Reggae Stage Performance and his award-winning band Exodus. The evening will be highlighted by their "Tribute to Bob Marley". Special Guest Performance by the Reggae Sensations and from Senegal West Africa DJ AND MC Assane Dia.

Along with great music from the Caribbean Festival will includes an International Food Market featuring authentic food from the Caribbean including Jamaican Spice, Caribbean Grill and Chill, Flavors of Jamaica, House of Soul Food and more.

Craft vendors from the Caribbean and Africa includes Crafts by Jenny, seneArt From Sengel, Beach Bling by Amanda, J's Blings and Things, West Michigan Jewelry of Africa, The Cxllective and more.
