Everyone is welcome to attend the Virtual Community Resource Fair to learn about resources available in our community!
Wednesday, October 16, 1-2 p.m.
This event will feature some community resources in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota metro area.
Each agency will give a short presentation about their organization and the resources they offer. After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to speak with someone from each agency to ask questions.

Participating agencies:
Chemical Health, Domestic Violence and Long-Term Care Services
- Missions Inc. provides substance use disorder, housing, and domestic violence services to over 3000 people each year.
Disability Services
- Metropolitan Center for Independent Living offers case management, advocacy, independent living tools, programs and classes, PCA College Service Corps, home COVID-19 vaccines, and transitional services.
Energy Assistance
- Minnesota Department of Commerce – Energy Assistance Program – Learn about how you can save money and energy and get help paying your energy bills.
Housing
- Housinglink provides rental housing resources for renters and property managers.
Legal aid
- Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid gives free civil legal support to senior citizens, people with low income, and those with disabilities.
Life coaching
- YMCA of the North: Youth & Family Services Foster Program helps youth involved with or graduating from extended foster care find their way.
Transportation
- Metro Transit offers a network of buses, light rail and commuter trains and resources for those who carpool, vanpool, walk or bike.
Voters Services
- Hennepin County Voter Outreach and Engagement will answer your questions about registering to vote and voting, including how to vote if you have no address, or if you or eligible to vote with a felony conviction.
This online event is free to all community members, workforce professionals, employment services staff, counselors and anyone interested in learning more about these resources. It’s easy to join with a smart phone, tablet or computer.
