The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Montana State University will host a virtual Friday Forum focused on traffic in Bozeman. “Bozeman Traffic: What Does the Future Hold?” will be held via Zoom on Friday, Oct. 11, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Nick Ross, Bozeman’s transportation and engineering director, will discuss current transportation projects and future challenges as Bozeman continues to grow. Ross will discuss the many factors considered in designing, constructing and managing a safe and efficient transportation system, including speed limits, engineering standards and public comment.

“Traffic management is a timely local issue as the city experiences continued growth of all housing types in its core and periphery,” he said.

OLLI at MSU Friday Forums occur the second Friday of the month from September through May. Participants must register directly through Zoom by 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11. Upon registration confirmation, participants will receive an email with the Zoom link and instructions on how to join the program. For more information, visit montana.edu/olli/offerings.

OLLI at MSU is a program of MSU Academic Technology and Outreach. ATO works across the university to support and advance its land-grant mission through unique and innovative outreach and engagement opportunities.
