Galatea tells the story of Seventy-One, the lone synthetic survivor of the starship Galatea. The android Seventy-One works with Dr. Margaret Mailer, a therapist for synthetics who have been out of touch with the world at large, to uncover the truth about the destruction of the Galatea. As the mystery unfolds, the truth may impact the fate of the human race.
Galatea won seven awards when it premiered at Spreckles Theater Company in San Fransisco in 2022 and will have six performances at the ZACC from November 7-11. All evenings shows have doors at 7PM, show at 7:30PM and matinees on Saturday and Sunday have doors at 1:30PM with shows at 2PM. Tickets $15 general admission.This play is not suitable for young children.
