Victor Frankenstein is determined to go where no scientist has ventured before by replicating the elusive “spark of life” and achieving mastery over death. But can he live with the consequences? At a time when technology is evolving dizzyingly fast and growing closer to imitating human behavior, Shelley's story challenges us to reckon with what it means to be alive.
