Triad Pride Acting Company, celebrating 5 years with TPPA, performs productions written or composed by or about members of the LGBTQ+ community, and participation is open to everyone! TPAC will hold auditions for "Second Samuel" by Pamela Parker, a poignant comedy/drama about family and perspective. It is a simpler time in the late 1940s in Second Samuel, a sleepy town in South Georgia. The Great Depression is fading into memory, WWII has been won, the election is over, and "Give 'em Hell Harry" is now President. It has been an exciting time for sure and the folks in Second Samuel are ready for things to settle down and get back to normal.

Except— this was the summer Miss Gertrude passed away, and dark secrets were about to be revealed. Nobody could have imagined how the death of one sweet old lady would turn the entire town upside down, leaving everybody wondering if anything would ever be normal again.

Audition dates and time: Dec 8th at 7:00pm, Dec 9th at 10:00am, and Dec 10th at 2:00pm.
Callbacks: Callbacks, if necessary, will be held after the regular auditions on Sunday, December 10.

Rehearsals: Generally, Sunday-Thursday evenings beginning with a read-thru on December 18th. We will not have any more rehearsals in December. Rehearsals will resume in January. Rehearsals are from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. However, we may have some Zoom meetings during December for character study with actor conflicts taken into consideration.

Conflicts: Director will attempt to work around occasional conflicts except during Tech Week (February 11-15).
