The Mission of the Triad VegFest, an all volunteer managed cooperative group, is to promote a peaceful world where people do not exploit other sentient beings, be they animals or other humans; a world where we care for each other and for the environment. We will use the platform of the Triad VegFest to educate the public about the wide-ranging benefits of adopting a vegan lifestyle, to support vegan entrepreneurs, as well as to show how various social and environmental justice issues coalesce and how they are all ultimately enhanced when expressed through a vegan paradigm shift. We currently support grass roots causes which focus on health and wellness for the community from a natural standpoint. We are sponsored by Vegfund, Sprouts Farmers Market, Conservation Makes Wellness LLC, Tractor Supply Company, and Healing Springs Farmacy.

Volunteer In Your Community Inc. Founded by Tinece Payne in 2008 is our driving force for the community for health and wellness. Her plant based activism and veganism has been integral to the holistic health of many in the community. Visit the site at http://www.viyc.org to learn more.

Raven Brooks, Aja Salaam, Chase Lockhart, Ivori Schley, Nallah Muhammad, and Akeem White are our Young Urban Farmers and Youth and Community Leaders for agriculture with the Kidz Cafe. They started Rayo Inc., Herricane Beauty Co Inc., Nova Productions, Afro Agriculture and Strengthen Your Mentality.

Together we spread veganism and health through our actions and events geared to improving the health of ALL living things.
