Here the ethereal meets the earthly, where the soul finds its voice as a muse to poets and musicians. Join us for this unforgettable concert where Bel Canto weaves a tapestry from a evocative choral selections by such composers as Jake Runestad, Florence Price, Daniel Elder, and Edie Hill.

From the writings of Henry David Thoreau, Jake Runestad's "Reflections" reminds us of the essential value of seizing opportunities and living fully without sacrificing the vital wellspring of introspection and reflection. Borrowing from the writings of Rumi, a thirteenth-century Sufi mystic, Daniel Elder expresses the power of divine love with "In Your Light." Edie Hill's "Clay Jug" states that inside this clay jug there are mountains, valleys, oceans, jewels, and "If you want the truth...the God whom I love is inside."
