Miles for Madonna 5K Race

When: Saturday, September 28th 2024
Where: Zorinsky Lake - Shelter #5 - 156th and F Streets

Schedule of Events

Cornhusker Corvette Car Show - 8:30 am - 10:00 am
Onsite registration begins - 9:00 am
Kids Zone featuring balloon artist, face painting, and games - 9:00 am
5K Walk - 9:30 am
5K Run/ 1-Mile Walk - 10:00 am

First 300 participants (in-person or virtual) receive a packet that includes:
Race T-Shirt (in-person and virtual participants)
Door Prize Coupons and More (in-person only)

Former Madonna patient and Guillain-Barre Syndrome survivor Steve Scott will be this year's honorary race captain. Walking alongside him will be wrestlers from his club, The Best Wrestler, his Nebraska Furniture Mart co-workers, former Madonna patients, staff, families and supporters. Now, he's calling on you to join them at Miles for Madonna.

"When you sign up, you're providing not only financial support but support to those that need their community to show them they care," Steve said. "Signing up and participating in the 5k shows we're here for those that need it. You don't realize how badly you need relationships and you need your community until you go through something as life-changing as somebody has to, to need care at Madonna."
