250 years ago, the future General John Sullivan took one hundred men down the mighty Piscataqua on the orders of the Boston Committee, delivered by Paul Revere. They raided the scantily manned Fort William and Mary on Day Two of a raid that was arguably the first military action of the American Revolution. The muskets, cannons and kegs they took away were used in the Battle of Bunker Hill and other key battles. This event is celebrated once every half century—do not miss a glorious family day out with prizes and games for everyone. Nearby food trucks will satisfy every taste!
