Be Part Of the music with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Yoon Sang Timothy Cho, for an unforgettable evening as the 89th season is kicked off with a spectacular performance featuring local "Rach" sensation, pianist Ron Levy! Enjoy this concert on Saturday, November 2, 8:00 pm at the Syriac Community Hall, 55 W. Midland Ave, Paramus, NJ. Experience the electrifying brilliance of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 as Levy takes the stage for a performance you won’t want to miss. The orchestra will also enchant with Felix Mendelssohn's atmospheric Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave) and the sweeping power of Rachmaninoff's Symphony in D Minor. Join us for a night of exhilarating music that will set the tone for an extraordinary season! Mr. Levy, internationally acclaimed pianist, has been called "first-class" by the New York Times. He regularly appears in major venues, both as a soloist and collaborative artist, and has been pianist and harpsichordist of many symphony orchestras. He has taught at numerous colleges and is currently on the faculty of Montclair University's Cali School of Music and The Ridgewood Conservatory. He currently is the Music Director of the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood, pianist and Assistant Conductor of the Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus and pianist of the award-winning Palisades Virtuosi [2022 American Prize], of which he is also a founding member. The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra is represented from virtually every part of Bergen County and many surrounding areas.
