The 13th Annual Hunter Arms Homecoming is set for August 9th and 10th at the Friends of History in Fulton, NY and Pathfinder Fish and Game Club. The Hunter Arms factory produced the Hunter Bicycle, Hunter Fans, and the L C Smith and Fulton side by side double barrel shotguns. Known for their quality, the Hunter Fans and the famous L C Smith guns were sold worldwide. The Hunter Arms Company was instrumental in putting Fulton on the map.

You can view Hunter Arms Co. related displays at the Pratt House located at 177 S. First Street. The displays will include L C Smith and Fulton shotguns, Hunter memorabilia, and Al Kraus paintings showcasing the history of the Hunter Arms Co. The Fulton Mayor, Hunter family members, and the public will be able to vote on the displays. The Hunter Gallery will be open for tours.

A friendly target shooting competition will take place Saturday, August 13th at Pathfinder Fish and Game Club. The participants will be using L C Smith or Fulton shotguns that were built at the Hunter factory (also known locally as the “ Gun Works”), to break flying clay targets in four venues that include trap, skeet, 5-stand, and sporting clays.

The weekend event concludes with an awards banquet at R. F. H’S Hide-A-Way Restaurant on Saturday evening. All activities are open for the public to participate and enjoy.
